TED University, the Impact Investing Advisory Board (EYDK), and Impact Hub Istanbul are organizing the "Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) Summit II: Investing in the Future" on June 18–19 with the contributions of national and international individuals and institutions. This Summit is co-founded by Erasmus+ Programme in the scope of Social X-Change Project.
Summit Organizers
TED University (TEDU) was established by the Turkish Education Association (TED), one of Turkey’s leading civil society organizations in education since 1928. As an urban university, TEDU encourages its academic staff to engage in problem-oriented research agendas that go beyond academic inquiry. TEDU also aims to foster a collaborative, skill- and competency-based, and problem-centered learning environment, encouraging its students to become active citizens in urban life and to develop innovative solutions to social problems.
Since 2016, TEDU has hosted İstasyonTEDU, its Center for Social Innovation —a multifunctional open collaboration space that brings together impact-oriented actors to strengthen the social innovation and social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Türkiye. İstasyonTEDU produces and shares knowledge on social innovation, social entrepreneurship, and social impact; designs and delivers tailored training programs and consultancy services; and facilitates interaction and collaboration between TEDU and other impact-oriented actors in the ecosystem.
TEDU is a member of GIIN, the Global Impact Investing Network—a global leader dedicated to increasing the scale and effectiveness of impact investing worldwide. TEDUTECH (TEDU Technology Transfer Office) is also a Limited Partner of the 500Annex VC Fund and is gaining expertise in equity and quasi-equity investments, particularly in small and medium-sized enterprises with high social/environmental impact.
The Impact Investing Advisory Board (EYDK) aims to strengthen the impact investment ecosystem in Türkiye as a multi-stakeholder platform that brings together the public sector, private sector, civil society, and academia. Launched in 2020 through the collaboration of leading institutions such as the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, Etkiyap, Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye (TKYB), UNDP IICPSD, and UNDP Türkiye, EYDK was officially established in 2021.
Since its inception, EYDK has become a central platform connecting national policymakers and international stakeholders in the field of impact investing. With 30 institutional members and 16 advisory board members, EYDK conducts its activities under the themes of “Collaboration for Impact,” “Impact Transparency,” and “Mobilization of Impact Capital.” It develops policy recommendations, hosts capacity-building programs, summits, and forums.
EYDK also develops development projects targeting various groups—especially women and youth—with the goal of mainstreaming impact investing in Türkiye, enabling systemic transformation, and positioning Türkiye as a regional hub in this field.
Impact Hub İstanbul is part of the global Impact Hub network that is present in more than 60 countries across 5 continents. All Impact Hubs create impact-oriented solutions with the goal of a better future for the planet and people and create tools to develop impact-driven entrepreneurship.
As Impact Hub Istanbul, we have been bringing together and supporting impactful individuals and organizations focused on social and environmental benefit through our programmes, events and co-working space since 2016. In order for impact-oriented individuals and organizations to develop inclusive and sustainable solutions, we design comprehensive content and methods for their needs, and create shared value by building collaboration processes.

About Social X-Change
This Summit is co-funded within the scope of Social X-Change Project. The Project aims to establish a network of social innovation and entrepreneurship centers to support the internationalization of university-level teaching and learning on social entrepreneurship
The Social X-Change project comprises four Higher Education Institutions —ESSEC Business School in France, Munich Business School in Germany, TED University in Türkiye, and Esade Business School in Spain— alongside the impactful network of incubators, Impact Hub, as well as the European Center for Social Finance.
