TED University and Impact Investing Advisory Board, Türkiye (EYDK) organises the “Impact Measurement and Management Summit: Time to Act in Türkiye” with the contribution of more than 20 national and international organisations. 

Summit Organisers

TED University was founded by the Turkish Education Association (TED), which has been pioneering the development of education in Turkey as one of the leading NGO since 1928. TEDU, as a city university encourages its academic staff to develop problem driven research agenda as well as pure academic research. Being one of the very few liberal arts universities in Turkey, TEDU also desires to create a collaborative, skill and competency based, problem driven learning environment and encourages its students to be active citizens having their voice in city life and derive innovative solutions for social problems. TEDU also has a Center for Social Innovation – İstasyonTEDU, since 2016, which is a multifunctional open collaborative space that brings social impact oriented actors together for development of social innovation and social entrepreneurship ecosystems in Türkiye. İstasyonTEDU produces and shares information on social innovation, social entrepreneurship and social impact, designs and provides training programs and consultancy support for the specialised needs, and facilitates interaction and cooperation between TED University and other social benefit oriented actors in the ecosystem.

TEDU is a member of GIIN which is a global pioneer of impact investing, dedicated to increasing the scale and effectiveness of impact investing around the world. TEDUTECH (The Technology Transfer Office of TEDU) is one of the Limited Partners of 500Annex VC Fund, has been gaining know-how on equity and equity-like investments in small and medium-sized enterprises especially the ones that have high social/environmental impact.

EYDK facilitates the development of a national impact investing ecosystem in Türkiye with its 45 leading institutional members from public, private, and non-profit sectors. The aim is to enable the country to become a regional market entry point for impact investing. Focused on awareness raising, capacity building, networking, and policy advocacy, with evidence-based themes such as women’s empowerment, refugee livelihoods, urban resilience, European Green Deal, and Istanbul Financial Center, EYDK is also a member of the global GSG community, the foremost global organisation that brings together 38 countries to shift economies to deliver positive outcomes for all people and the planet.
