IMPACT MEASUREMENT AND MANAGEMENT SUMMIT:
TIME TO ACT IN TÜRKİYE

Transition into the impact economy has become a central theme for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With over 2.3 trillion dollars of financial assets, impact investing is a prime disruptor for mobilising private capital through its premise of generating positive, measurable social and environmental impact, while also realising financial returns. Having a deep-rooted intention towards serving the people and the planet, and realising this vision with contributions both in kind and capital through tangible performance indicators are two crucial elements of impact investing. Yet, the differentiating force of this movement comes from its focus on measuring, managing, transparently reporting, and independently assuring social and environmental impact.

Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) has long mustered enough theoretical basis, and it is now time to focus more on its practice and scalability. Türkiye is also transforming into a major actor in the field of impact investing, with an aspiration to become a regional market entry point. Organised by TED University and Impact Investing Advisory Board, Türkiye (EYDK), “Impact Measurement and Management Summit: Time to Act in Türkiye” will be a crowning achievement for the relevant interventions in this respect.
